Blasphemess is a persistent browser based role-playing game. It focuses on a multi-dimensional and multi-sided struggle of demigods and mortals.
Angels, demons, undead, transcended individuals, cybernetically enhanced beings, mortals, and more are all locked into a war that spans worlds and dimensions. Entities from all manners of existence have come together on the front line worlds of this struggle to achieve their goals.
For many, the struggle is about freedom.
Others wish to attain power. Some seek only to live out their lives in relative peace.
No matter the individual goals, conflict and death is inevitable. Yet for some, death is but a hindrance. The most powerful beings can reforge their souls into new bodies.
Players take the role of such empowered individuals: demigods, by virtue of their power.
Across the dimensional clusters of conflict zones, there reign several loose associations of collective power.
The Exoneration Coalition, for instance, which seeks freedom at all costs and proudly proclaims "We stand with humanity: no gods, no masters."
Angels band together within the Holy Alliance, which offers a religion unto the many worlds: fight back against demonic oppression wherever it is to be found, solidarity with mortals, and safeguard the weak.
Demonic associations have cropped up across the multiverse as well, often headed by a demon strong enough to control a world. Their rallying cries vary, but most recognise that "Might makes right." Their ranks rapidly shift through treachery and violence, but they rule most of the multiverse by virtue of their numbers.
